On the night of 16th May 1943 nineteen specially adapted Avro Lancasters, led by Wing Commander Guy Gibson and crewed by the cream of Bomber Command, took part in the most famous raid of WWII on the dams that checked the waters of the River Ruhr. Their skill and bravery have gone down in history and even today's 617 Squadron is known as The Dam Busters. Now you can follow their exploits in Combat Flight Simulator 2 from the famous bombing of the dams with the Upkeep 'bouncing bomb' to the sinking of the Tirpitz and more.
