In their panicked attempts to shed their corporeal forms, they mistakenly introduced mutations into the gene pool. In time, only a select few retained enough brain power to continue the scientific research. One of these researchers, known as Temporus, decides to play God by pitting some of history's greatest warriors together in a grand tournament -- the results of which will decide whether or not humankind is worth saving! The player is tasked with mastering the fighting style and special skills of one of five available characters, in order to lead him to victory.
